"This Record is the result of an invitation that i received in the context of the 10 years anniversary of Moods Jazz Club in Zurich. I was asked to bring a band that should be heard in this place. To make a long story short: Musica Reservata in its current form evolved from that.
Originally I supposed the group to play some of my tunes. However after a short but intense rencontre in Parma we realised that it would be worthy the try to play without any guidance. Therefore he music on this record is free improvised. Our creations are not based on any predefined or rehearsed tunes or songs. Some of you might note one or two references to existing tunes, though.
The names of the tunes are composed from an old poem.
Passage was recorded by Swiss Radio and released under the label LiveLife."
